BMW's entrance into the 2007 model year is strongly focused in the revitalization of their already revered premium sport utility vehicle line. For 2007, the BMW X5 has been completely redesigned with an enhanced emphasis on refinement. Longer in wheelbase and overall length, the 2007 BMW X5 receives brand-new engine power and continues to offer a wide array of high-tech comfort features. BMW's smaller premium utility vehicle, the X3, receives a minor design adjustment and a significant powertrain enhancement for 2007. The renamed BMW X3 3.0si model is powered by 260-horsepower engine while it's automatic transmission choice is now a six-speed gearbox. On the heels of the BMW 3 Series sedan and wagon, the 2007 model year features the roll-out of the new coupe as well as the convertible version based on the modern platform. Introducing the M6 in coupe form in 2006, BMW has applied the 500-horsepower engine and motorsport-inspired equipment to the 6 Series convertible.
