2007 model year changes

The BMW 6-Series enters 2007 with a few relatively minor equipment changes. A new Pearl leather option offers a more supple feel versus the standard Dakota leather, the high-end Logic7 sound system is now a standalone option, and an auxiliary input for an iPod or MP3 player is now standard equipment. The Real Time Traffic Information system is also now standard.

Special features for 2007

The 2007 BMW 6-Series sedan stands apart from its 5-Series sibling thanks to its high-tech, performance-oriented features, which enable it to fill the double role of sports car and comfy luxury coupe. And the exclusive M6 model has performance to rival many exotics from specialty sports car makers, while still having enough refinement for everyday driving.
A carry-over from 2006, the 6-Series is a two-door four-passenger luxury sport-coupe offered with a choice of between a 4.8-liter V8 engine that produces 360 horsepower or an astounding 5.0L V10 producing 500 hp. Each engine is linked to either a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic.
