Now entering its third model year, the 2006 Saturn Ion is a more refined version of its predecessors. Available as a four door Sedan or a two door Coupe (called the Quad Coupe with innovative rear-hinged doors), in Ion 2, Ion 3 and Red Line trims, depending on the model, the Ion comes equipped with a standard 140 horsepower 2.2-liter 4-cylinder or a top-of-the-line 205 horsepower 2.0-liter supercharged 4-cylinder with FWD and a 5-speed HD manual transmission offered in the Red Line version. The Ion features air, cruise, keyless entry and AM/FM/CD/MP3/Satellite.
