Adding two new products in 2005, the Saab brand continues to revitalize their lineup for 2006. A new, sophisticated approach to a wagon, the Saab 9-3 SportCombi debuts as a stylish yet practical vehicle with a steeply-raked tailgate. The 2006 model year also features the addition of a new turbocharged V-6 engine choice for the Saab 9-3. Classified under the Aero trim level nameplate, the 250-horsepower, turbocharged 2.8-liter V-6 engine boasts impressive acceleration and comes available with the sedan, convertible and SportCombi body styles for the 2006 Saab 9-3. The Saab 9-5 receives a noticeable exterior styling update for 2006 including a new headlight and grille design. For 2006, the Saab 9-5 wagon also adopts the SportCombi nameplate. Debuting last year, the Saab 9-2X and 9-7X models are left unchanged for 2006.
