2006 Explorer price, pictures, reviews, and Ford Explorer options prices
For 2006, the Explorer gets a complete makeover. This is a seven-passenger mid-size SUV available in three different trim levels – the XLT, the Eddie Bauer or the Limited – and all are offered in either two or four-wheel-drive configuration linked to a four-speed automatic transmission. The base engine is the 4.0Liter V6 that produces 210HP or the 4.6Liter V8 that produces 292HP.
