A carry-over from 2005, the XLR gets a newly-designed six-speed automatic transmission to accompany its 4.6Liter V8 Northstar transmission that produces 320HP. The XLR is a two-seat two-passenger roadster that features a fully electric retractable hardtop. Also new for 2006 is a Passion Red Special Edition – an ultra-luxury model with standard eighteen inch wheels and individually numbered sill plates.
