The majority of the 2005 Honda line-up features some sort of tweak for the new model year. The biggest development is the expansion of the Honda hybrid car fleet in 2005. Adding to the ultra-efficient Insight, gasoline-electric powertrains are now available on two of Honda's most popular existing vehicles. Appearing similar to their gasoline-only powered counterparts, the 2005 Honda Accord Hybrid and a Honda Civic Hybrid debut as a more practical way to embrace environmentally-friendly motoring. Honda's family-hauling 2005 Odyssey minivan is all-new for 2005 advertising big steps in vehicle safety. Constructed on Honda's ACE (Advanced Compatibility Engineering) body structure, the new Odyssey comes standard with side-curtain airbags and electronic stability control. Revamped styling with new headlights defines the 2005 Honda CR-V that also adds standard 16-inch wheels.
