A carry-over from 2004, the Ranger is a compact pick up truck that’s available in various cab configurations, including Regular, Extended and Super, offered in either the Base XL trim or the XLT. The standard engine is a 2.3-liter inline four-cylinder that produces 143 horsepower, with an optional 3.0-liter V6 that generates 148 horsepower, or a 4.0-liter that generates 207 horsepower. A five-speed manual transmission is standard with an automatic transmission as an option, in either two or four-wheel-drive configuration.
