The sedans in Audi's product line-up have been completely redesigned for 2005. Audi's flagship A8 sedan arrives on an all-new platform for 2005. The restyled 2005 A8 will be one of the first products of the German luxury brand to reveal Audi's MMI system designed to provide control of various functions inside the car such as audio and temperature. The mid-level Audi A6 grows considerably in length for 2005. Offered only in a sedan, the 2005 Audi A6 is equipped with a new 3.2-liter V-6 engine. Unfortunately for upscale families, the A6 Avant model is not available for the 2005 model year. Finally, Audi has introduced new front end styling to the A4 sedan and wagon for 2005. The 2005 model year also provides the Audi A4 with the choice four powerplants through the addition of a turbocharged 2.0-liter and 3.2-liter V-6 engine that use FSI technology (gasoline direct injection).
