Considered the automaker’s smallest sport utility vehicle, the 2004 Toyota RAV4 features some "news” this year – new power, new styling and new airbags. With a 161 horsepower 2.4-liter inline 4-cylinder (a power boost from last year’s 148 horsepower 2.0-liter), the RAV4 comes equipped with a manual or an extra-cost automatic transmission, in either FWD or AWD configurations. In addition to side-body and side-head airbags, the RAV4 also boasts slight styling renovations both inside and out this year. Equipment includes air conditioning, cruise control and keyless entry.
