Mitsubishi’s full size SUV gets some enhancements this year, including styling updates and antiskid/traction control. The 2003 Mitsubishi Montero is offered in XLS and Limited trims, as well as a 20th Anniversary model this year. All are powered by a 215 horsepower 3.8-liter V6 with a 5-speed automatic sportronic transmission as standard. The Montero seats up to seven passengers and features a solid list of standard equipment, including front and rear air conditioning, cruise control, keyless entry, power accessories, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, airbags and ABS.
