The 2003 Kia Sorento is the South Korean automaker's newest compact sport utility vehicle. The 2003 Kia Sorento features a highly refined look and a powerful 3.5-liter V-6 engine. Adding the Sorento, Kia has dropped the Sportage. Introduced in 2001, the 2003 Kia Rio gains a substantial overall upgrade for 2003. Along with retouched exterior and interior styling as well as added standard features, the 2003 Rio models are propelled by a new 1.6-liter four-cylinder powerplant. Styling for the Kia Optima mid-sized sedan has been revised for 2003 with a new grille and taillights on the outside as well as a designed dash center stack. Output for the 2.4-liter four-cylinder and 2.7-liter V-6 engine of the Optima have rated lower for 2003 compared to the previous year's sedan.
