Consisting of six distinct products for 2002, Volvo contains a number of minor vehicle tweaks. Introduced last year with only front-wheel drive, the Volvo S60 is now available with all-wheel drive on the 2.4T trim model. The Volvo V70 wagon version with the same 2.4T powerplant was also added for 2002. Traction control and heated front seats have been added to the standard feature list for the C70 allowing for more pleasurable driving during colder winter seasons. The S80 and S40 sedan both add an in-trunk emergency release to all 2002 variants. Limited to only 500 examples, the Volvo S80 commemorates the 1927 beginnings for the Swedish automaker with a 75th Anniversary Edition model equipped with many characteristics found on the T6 Executive.
