The 2002 Mercury Cougar is offered in 4-cylinder and V6 versions, in Base, Sport, Sport Premium and Sport Ultimate trims, depending on the model. This three door Coupe has long been a mainstay in the automaker’s line-up, but this marks the last year of production for the Cougar. Under the hood, engines range from a 125 horsepower 2.0-liter to a 170 horsepower 2.5-liter, with luxury amenities that include air conditioning, cruise control, keyless entry, power controls, an adjustable steering wheel, a trip computer, a remote trunk release and AM/FM/CD audio.
