Mazda enters into a new vehicle category for 2001. The Mazda Tribute is a four-door compact sport utility vehicle developed in cooperation with Ford. A single overhead cam version of the 4.0-liter V-6 engine now produces 207 horsepower for B4000 models. A five-speed automatic transmission is standard equipped with the new engine.
