Consisting of four products, the Lincoln luxury brand relies on minor improvements to their vehicles for 2001. Engine power for the 2001 Lincoln Town Car has been standardized at 235 horsepower while power-adjustable pedals are now available on the sedan. On the 2001 Navigator, rear seat passengers can now delight in standard rear climate controls and an optional entertainment package. The Lincoln LS mid-sized sedan adds traction control to the standard equipment list for all 2001 configurations. Lincoln's RESCU (an optional telematic system used for emergency, roadside assistance and guidance by the drivers for a monthly fee on the LS or Continental) has been dropped in favor of a new Vehicle Communication System. For 2001, all Lincoln models add complimentary oil changes for three years or 36,000 miles.
