A sports sedan with seating for five, the 2000 Nissan Maxima has been upgraded and redesigned for the new model year. Power is laid down through the front wheels courtesy of a 3.0L V6 engine which produces 222 hp. The Maxima is available with either a five-speed manual transmission or a four-speed automatic. The updates to the Maxima also include revised suspension and four-wheel disc brakes.
