The 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis is a full-size sedan with premium standard features and optional seating for up to six passengers. The Grand Marquis is offered in two trims, the GS and LS, which are both powered by a 200 hp 4.6L V8 engine. This V8 also develops 275 lb-ft of torque which helps easily push this RWD, nearly 4,000 lb vehicle. The only available transmission is a four-speed automatic which helps the Grand Marquis achieve a 25 mpg highway fuel economy rating.
