A compact pickup truck, the 1999 Nissan Frontier 4WD Truck is available with seating arrangements ranging from three up to five passengers. The Frontier 2WD Truck is available with a regular Car or a King Cab. The base engine is a 2.4L four-cylinder which produces 143 hp and 154 lb-ft of torque and is the only choice for the regular cab. Also available is a 3.3L V6 which produces 170 hp and 200 lb-ft of torque. The standard transmission is a five-speed manual, however a four-speed automatic is optional.
