Installed as Infiniti's new entry-level vehicle, the brand reintroduces their G20 sedan. Propelled by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, the 1999 Infiniti G20 utilizes the same focus on suspension and handling as the larger Infiniti sedans. Promoted to the mid-level sedan for 1999, the Infiniti I30 is now available with traction control and two-tone paint schemes. Infiniti's flagship Q45 sedan gains some extra styling definition to project its high-luxury cause. A new grille and high intensity discharge headlights, power glass sunroof as well as a power closure assist function for the trunk is among improvements found on the 1999 Infiniti Q45. On the Infiniti Q45t models for 1999, new Active Damper Suspension allows the driver to choose between Sport and Auto drive settings. No major changes have been made to the Infiniti QX4 for 1999.
