The 1999 Audi A4 is an entry-level luxury car that seats five passengers and is available as a sedan or an all-new wagon body-style called the Avant. The base engine is a 1.8L turbocharged four-cylinder which produces 150 hp and earns 32 mpg on the highway. A more powerful V6 is available in the form of a 2.8L which generates 190 hp. The sedan is available with FWD or quattro AWD, while the wagon is only offered with the AWD system.
