The 1998 Mercury Grand Marquis is a full-size premium sedan which is available with a bench front seat that creates room for six passengers. The Grand Marquis is offered in two trims, the GS and LS, which are both powered by a 200 hp 4.6L V8 engine. The only available transmission is a four-speed automatic which helps the Grand Marquis achieve a 24 mpg highway fuel economy rating.
