A mid-size sports sedan, the 1998 Mazda Millenia seats five passengers and is available in two trims; the base and the S. The base engine is a 2.5L six-cylinder which produces 170 hp and has a fuel economy rating of 20 mpg city/27 mpg highway. The S trim receives a bit more power from a 2.3L V6 which generates 210 hp yet also earns 1 mpg better on the highway over the base version due to the help of a supercharger. All versions utilize a four-speed automatic transmission which sends power to the front wheels.
