A division of Chrysler formed in 1987, Eagle was spawned from the buyout of American Motors and their AMC Eagle model. Eagle was sold alongside Jeeps at Jeep/Eagle dealerships throughout the country. Eagle produced a handful of vehicles which ranged from the economical Summit to the sporty Talon up to a larger sedan, the Vision. Chrysler decided to discontinue this brand in 1998.
