The 1998 Dodge Neon is a compact, sporty car which seats five passengers and is available as a coupe or a sedan. The base engine is a 2.0L four-cylinder engine which produces 132 hp and 129 lb-ft of torque. This engine is found in the Highline coupe and sedan, as well as the Competition sedan. The Competition coupe receives the same engine but output is bumped to 150 hp. All versions are rated at 39 mpg on the highway.
