Chevrolet enters the 1998 model year with the ability to satisfy the vast tastes of the auto market. For 1998, vehicles connected to the recently closed GEO brand provides Chevrolet with the Metro, Prizm and Tracker to win over younger, budget conscious buyers. The 1998 Chevrolet Camaro gains a facelifted appearance, an all-aluminum V-8 engine and a SS model. Introduced last year, the Chevrolet Venture minivan delivers an expanded level of optional equipment for 1998 that includes Versatrak all-wheel drive. Following the introduction of fifth-generation 1998 Chevrolet Corvette coupe, a convertible version is now offered. For the first time since 1962, the Chevrolet Corvette convertible is equipped with a proper trunk.
