INFINITI's debut as a luxury brand was launched with two vehicles with one being a grand touring coupe. A United States-only release, the INFINITI M30 was a rear-wheel drive that was standard equipped with six-cylinder engine power and an advanced road-scanning suspension system. When the M30 was discontinued after the 1992 model year, it would take 11 years for another INFINITI coupe to be introduced. The INFINITI G35 Coupe provided a new level of personal luxury from the Japanese brand encapsulated in sleek body panels. Adding a larger engine, the coupe became INFINITI G37. Starting for the 2014 model year, the G37 was renamed to Q60 coupe as INFINITI adopted a new naming structure for their vehicles.
