A Rockland, Maine boat company, the Stuart Marine Corporation was founded in 1982. Beginning major production in 1985, Stuart Marine Corporation initially dealt exclusively with 19-foot sailboats based on a former O‘Day Corporation design. Stuart Marine Corporation would enter the powerboat market in 1999 with the introduction of the 9-foot Stuart dinghy followed later by a 19-foot center console boat. Stuart Marine Corporation is manufactured with handcrafted fiberglass construction.
