Northport Incorporated acquired the Sierra Boats company name in 1988. Sierra/Northport Incorporated continued building an identical line-up of small fiberglass powerboats between 15 and 21 feet in length. Along with producing open and closed bow runabouts, the Sierra/Northport Incorporated also produced a 21-foot cuddy cruiser. Sierra/Northport Incorporated production ended after the 1997 model year.
