After selling the Slikker family sold the Slickcraft Boat Company to AMF, the motor yacht builder S2 Yachts was founded in 1974. Reacquiring the Slickcraft name in 1987, S2 Yachts provided an extensive line of fiberglass pleasure boats using the former family-held brand. Between 18 and 31 feet in length, the watercraft sold under Slickcraft has been attached to boat with and without cabins. After 1989, the Slickcraft brand was retired and products were replaced under Tiara Sportboats.
