Building a sailboat based on a Carl Schumacher design, Alsberg Brothers Boat Works manufactured their watercraft in the state of California. Building their first boat in 1981, the Express/Alsberg Brothers business remained focused on the construction of a 27-foot sailing craft. Express/Alsberg Brothers also produced a limited number of 34-foot and a 37-foot sailboat. Express/Alsberg Brothers business ceased production in 1988.
