A Long Beach, California sailboat builder founded by 1950s television personality Hank McCune, Yorktown Yachts' history started in the early 1960s. Becoming popular in the production of 21-foot to 40-foot vessels, the California marine company’s sailing yachts were built for the recreation market. Yorktown Yachts was one of the first sailboat builders in the region of California to build hulls in fiberglass.
